EPGC series Epoxy Glass Cloth Base Rigid Laminated Sheet consists of woven glass cloth impregnated with epoxy thermosetting resin, laminated under high temperature and high pressure. The woven glass cloth shall be alkali-free and treated by silane coupler.
EPGC series (heat resistant: B~H), produced as per IEC60893-3-2, possess excellent mechanical strength under middling temperature or thermal state, stable electric property in high humidity. EPGC202 and EPGC204 also have flame retardant property. The sheets also passed toxic and hazardous substance detection (SGS Report).
Used for B~H-class electrical motors, electrical equipments as insulating structural components, which has flame resistance requirements or not, or other ways. The classification and type (see Table 1).

2 Referee Test Methods
2.1 Appearance: By visual observation.
2.2 Mechanical Machining: The machining of sheets shall comply with JB/Z 141-1979.
2.3 Density: Shall comply with GB 1033-1986 A. The weight of specimen shall be 2~50g.
2.4 Others shall be as per GB 5130-1985 (IEC60893-2:1992).
3 Inspection, Mark, Packing, Transportation and Storage
3.1 The inspection items for Routine Test shall include Clause 1.1, 1.2, 1.3 and Item 3 & 5 of Table 3. The items in Clause 1.1, 1.2, 1.3 should be checked one by one.
3.2 The sheets shall be stored in a place where temperature is no higher than 40ºC, and be placed horizontally on a bedplate with a height 50mm or above. Keep away from fire, heat (heating apparatus) and direct sunshine. The storage life of sheets is 18 months from the date of leaving factory. If the storage duration is over 18 months, the product also could be used after being tested to be qualified.
3.3 Others shall accord with the stipulations of GB/T1305-1985.
4 Remarks and Precautions for Handling and Use
4.1 Machining shall comply with JB/Z141-1979 because the sheets have inherent difference in attribute from metal.
4.2 A high speed and small depth of cutting shall be applied when machining because of sheets¡ weak thermal conductivity.
4.3 Machining and cutting this product will release much dust and smoke. Suitable measures should be taken to ensure dust levels are within acceptable limits during operations. Local exhaust ventilation and use of suitable dust/particle masks is advised.
4.4 The sheets are subject to moisture after being machined, a coating of insulating vanish is recommended.Dongfang laminate glass fabric with epoxy resin under hear and pressure,
